This data product consists of daily sets of four images created from SOLIS Vector Spectromagnetograph (VSM) data: (a) photospheric longitudinal magnetic field, based on FeI 630.15 and 630.25 nm lines; (b) photospheric vector magnetic field, based on FeI 630.15 and 630.25 nm lines; (c) chromospheric equivalent widths based on the HeI 1083.0 nm line; (d) lower chromosphere longitudinal magnetic field based on the CaII 854.2 nm lines. Some recent data are "quick look" while most data are based on Milne-Eddington inversions. The data are available as both JPEG images for browsing and as FITS files for quantitative work.

These maps show magnetic flux emanating from the photosphere as gray coding against the sun's full latitude and Carrington longitude ranges. The maps are available once per Carrington rotation and also, from a separate subdirectory, at "daily" (more typically, once every several days) resolution. For some intervals, the data are available as both jpegs for browsing and as gzipped FITS-formatted files for quantitative work.
