This dataset contains daily lists of solar flares observed by the Large Yield RAdiometer (LYRA) onboard Proba 2. The lists recorded the begin, peak, and end time of each flare (1-minute averages), its class of intensity, and the region. The purpose of the list is to get an overview of the flares that LYRA observes and relate them to class, begin, max, etc. according to GOES. Besides listing the values in ASCII format, each file also provides a plot.

These data are used to study the interaction of the solar wind with the interstellar medium by measurements of spatial and temporal variations of the intensity of backscattered solar Lyman alpha emission at 1216 A and of the solar Helium line at 584 A.

This data set was provided by the PI team and contains daily values of the integrated solar X-ray irradiance (2-7 nm) as measured by the SNOE Solar X-ray Photometer. The data cover the time period March 11, 1998 to October 1, 2000 and are given in ASCII format. Irradiances are given as measured at the spacecraft and adjusted to 1 A.U. Also included are the 10.7 cm solar radio flux (daily and 81-day average) measured at Ottawa, Canada and Lyman Alpha photon fluxes measured by the UARS SOLSTICE instrument.
